Dental Practice Long Island

e.s.i. Healthy Dentistry stands for exceptional, sophisticated, integrated dental care. Incidentally, “esi” is a Greek word meaning “you,” and it represents who we focus all of our energy on. Everything that we do is to pamper YOU, to serve YOU, to care for YOU and yours.

Exceptional

Because of the unprecedented customer service and the impressive personal care that is being rendered. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and to, as most of our patients do, rave about your pleasant experience to your family and friends.

Sophisticated

Due to the advanced technology and cutting edge, latest treatment options available in dentistry today. We are dedicated to continuing education and sharpening our skills.

Get In Touch With Us

As a profession, dentistry has always been at the forefront of personal protective equipment (PPE). We are used to using masks, eye protection.

Integrated

Since our advanced training enables us to perform most of the services that are traditionally performed by a specialist. Some of these services include implant surgery, pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry, laser dentistry, Invisalign® invisible orthodontics, wisdom teeth removal, and periodontal therapy.

CEREC®

CEREC® is an innovative technology that is used to create and place veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays in just one visit. This treatment option makes it easy to restore chipped, decayed or discolored teeth. Using computer technology, Dr. Kilimitzoglou can create tooth restorations in less than one hour.

Periodontal Care

The teeth are not the only important part of the mouth; your gums are essential to oral hygiene as well. Dr. K offers both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments aimed at preserving the health of the gums. Using a soft tissue laser, he is able to eliminate bacteria, foster regeneration of healthy tissue, and reshape the gums to suit cosmetic goals. Laser dentistry is the most advanced form of periodontal care and offers several benefits to patients including faster healing time, less invasive treatment, and reduced risk of infection.

Bonding

Dental bonding is another option that patients have to treat decayed, chipped or cracked teeth. During this procedure Dr. Kilimitzoglou applies a plastic material to the tooth. This tooth-colored resin is then bonded to the tooth through the use of a special treatment light. Dental bonding can also provide a more attractive alternative to silver fillings.

Dental Bridges

Dr. Kilimitzoglou offers dental bridges to patients who have lost a tooth or several teeth. These bridges typically consist of a gold, metal or porcelain foundation and are bonded to the patient’s natural teeth to ensure strength. Affixed to dental crowns on both sides, a prosthetic tooth acts as a “bridge” over gaps in the teeth.

Dental Crowns

When teeth are badly damaged and a filling will not suffice, patients may need to have dental crowns placed. A crown can be thought of as a cap that covers the tooth, adding strength and preventing further decay. It also restores the shape of the tooth, providing an aesthetically-pleasing look. Crowns can typically be placed within two office visits.

CROWN LENGTHENING

Crown lengthening is performed when a patient has a tooth that needs to be cared for, but not enough of the tooth is exposed. If Dr. Kilimitzoglou needs to add a crown or filling, for example, but there is insufficient exposed tooth structure, he removes some of the gum tissue to expose more of the tooth that is being treated. This procedure can also be performed for cosmetic reasons, if patients feel that their gums are overpowering. Using a soft tissue laser, Dr. K is able to provide precise treatment that minimizes patient discomfort.
